How it all started…

When I set out to look for a childcare center for my two young boys, I was disappointed because there wasn’t a center that had everything I was looking for. Some centers were great but either they weren’t affordable or the educational aspect was missing. I decided that I wanted it all for not only my children, but my friends and family too.

Then Magical Minds Childcare and Learning Center was born.

Our Mission

We provide childcare that offers educational programs for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old while providing an encouraging, safe, educational environment allowing for growth physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially.

Toddler Programs

We embrace and nurture your child’s growing sense of self exploration, excitement, independence, and intellectual milestones.

At Magical Minds, our infant and toddler classrooms use Learning Beyond Paper, a hands-on, play-based curriculum designed specifically for our youngest learners.

This approach moves beyond worksheets and focuses on meaningful, real-world experiences through sensory exploration, music, movement, language development, and guided play. Activities are thoughtfully planned to support brain development, early communication, motor skills, social-emotional growth, and independence.

Learning Beyond Paper allows our teachers to be intentional and responsive to each child’s individual developmental stage while creating joyful, engaging learning experiences every day.

 
 

Preschool Program

Our highly trained teachers provide an environment that establishes strong kindergarten-readiness skills, supports friendships, and prepares your child to leave for elementary school with confidence and excitement.

Scholastic Big Day for PreK Curriculum

The Scholastic Big Day for PreK Curriculum at Magical Minds Childcare and Learning Center was designed by early education specialists and follows the guidelines for developmentally appropriate practice set forth by national accrediting associations and Common Core Standards for Kindergarten. This educational child care program helps children develop the critical thinking and problem-solving skills they'll need to succeed in kindergarten, school and life.

 

CHRISTI Anderson | Owner

Christi is a former K-6 Elementary Teacher. She has experience as a teacher in a variety of settings, including work as a Pre-K teacher at a private school, and as a lead teacher in a daycare center. Through her experiences, Christi found that her passion lies with teaching the littlest of learners, those from birth to Pre-K. As a mother of two young boys, a teacher and a business owner, Christi has combined her love for family, her connection with children and her interest in education to create Magical Minds Childcare and Learning Center.

Ms. Katy | DIRECTOR

Ms. Katy has been working in childcare for 10 years and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in business. She loves watching children grow and celebrating their milestones along the way. Her favorite part of each day is getting to experience the unique personalities that make every child special and helping children feel safe, loved, and supported each day. Ms. Katy also enjoys building strong relationships with families and loves the positive, caring environment at Magical Minds.
